Like other weight distribution hitches, it uses a pair of spring bars to distribute the trailer tongue weight across the axles of the vehicle-trailer combination. However, rather than using spring bar chains, the TruTrack connects to the trailer frame via heavy-duty, adjustable support brackets that secure the spring bars both laterally and vertically. This design ensures that, while traditional spring bars may sway from side to side, the integrated sway control arms reduce this movement and keep the trailer better aligned.
