Roadmaster 522203-5 Baseplates are the strongest, safest, and easiest to install and make it possible to tow your vehicle behind your motorhome. Designed for use with motorhome-mounted tow bars, the direct-connect brackets are virtually invisible and easy to mount and remove. These brackets install on your vehicle’s frame, eliminating the need for a quick-disconnect crossbar on your tow bar.· Direct-connect brackets provide attachment points for your motorhome-mounted tow bar· Streamlined design creates a clean look· No obtrusive quick-disconnect crossbar· Hidden brackets sit even farther back than standard brackets· Drawbars attach and remove quickly and easily· Arms click to lock in place in brackets· Built-in pull rings let you unlock arms so you can twist and remove them· Computer-cut, all-steel construction provides exceptional strength· Black powder-coat finish is durable and corrosion-resistant· Simple installation with no welding required· Custom baseplates ensure a perfect fit to a specific range of vehicles· Compatible with Roadmaster motorhome-mounted tow bars only· Pins to connect baseplate to the tow bar are not includedNote: Roadmaster direct-connect baseplates will only work with Roadmaster tow bars that slide into a trailer hitch, such as the Blackhawk, Blackhawk 2, Falcon, or Falcon 2. These baseplates will not work with tow bars that require a hitch ball. Roadmaster 522203-5 Baseplate Kit Fits the Following Vehicles· 2019-2024 Ram 1500 Pick-Up – Fits all with 5.7, 3.6 & 3.0 EcoDiesel motors. No 3.0L EcoDiesel V6 with lower Active Air Grille Shutters. No Rebel or TRX. – Trimming of spoiler, air dam, bumper, grill, skid plate or plastic fascia may be required on some models of this vehicle. – This is a direct-connect baseplate, to which any motorhome-mounted Roadmaster tow bar will attach. It neither uses nor will it accommodate Roadmaster’s crossbar. As a result, there are no mounting points for Stowmaster tow bars, some Guardians or Tow Defender part 4700. Tow Defender part #4750 will fit. In some cases, Roadmaster makes a crossbar version of this baseplate that will accommodate these products.
