Lower fuel costs and increase your driving range with the RDS 33-Gallon Auxiliary Diesel Fuel Tank. This auxiliary fuel tank mounts securely behind the cab in your pickup. Made of no-rust diamond tread plated aluminum with internal baffles to reduce slosh, a secure fill compartment to deter theft, and a manual sight fuel gauge. Features a lockable gas cap to provide added security and peace of mind. It easily connects to your trucks fuel system using an optional diesel fuel line install kit (sold separately). This tank fits under most tonneau covers and doesnt interfere with 5th wheel towing. Meets DOT standards for both diesel and bio-diesel, and bolts directly into the truck bed with integrated mounting tabs. Made in the USA. NOTE: For safety reasons, the filler neck on RDS fuel tanks prevents them from being overfilled. Actual usable tank capacity is about 95% of the total advertised gallons due to fuel expansion in warmer climates.
